Garrison ISD will have a late start at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24th due to the fact that several roads in Nacogdoches county are closed due to the amount of rain received over the last few days. Several more roadways are underwater and more rain is predicted throughout the night. A late start will allow students and staff the ability to travel in daylight and seek alternate routes if necessary. Buses will run two hours later than normal but please expect delays. Parents may begin drop off at 9:30 AM and staff should report by 9:00 AM . We apologize for any inconvenience this creates but please understand our goal is to keep our staff and students safe. We will send at 10:30 pm and 6:00 AM
