The student transfer period for the 2025-26 academic year is officially open and will stay open until June 2, 2025. Transfers may apply after this date, however space may be limited.

TEA released 2023 Accountability Ratings recently after being held up in court for nearly 2 years.
Texas provides annual academic accountability ratings to its public school districts, charters and schools. The ratings are based on performance on state standardized tests; graduation rates; and college, career, and military readiness outcomes. The ratings examine student achievement, school progress, and whether districts and campuses are closing achievement gaps among various student groups.
Garrison ISD is pleased with this rating as the state continues to change the parameters in which we are graded. We will continue to strive to be a model district for the community. We are thankful for our teachers and all they pour into the students at Garrison ISD.

6th grade will perform first followed by the Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony Bands.
There will not be a 5th grade concert this year.

The Garrison ISD Board of Trustee's recognized the 2025 THSPA Division 4 State Powerlifting Champions at last night’s board meeting. Garrison Powerlifting received their 3rd state championship in a row.
Jabrahlyn Jones - Senior SHW Class, 4 Year Powerlifter, 3 Team State Championships,
1st Place Individual State and Regionals 2025
Gavin Pollard - Senior 308 lb. class, 4 Year Powerlifter, 3 Team State Championships
1st Place Individual State and Regionals 2025, Best Overall Bencher and Total Heavy Platform at Regionals and State
Avery Yarbrough - Junior 148 lb. class, 3 Year Powerlifter, 3 Team State Championships

Early voting for the May 3, 2025, Garrison ISD Board of Trustees Election begins today in the Annex Building. Early voting entry is at the door closest to North B Avenue.
Please be aware that this area does get congested from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM due to student pick-up.

If your child is registered for the Carlton Driving School classes will start on Monday April 21, 2025 at 3:45 in the new OAP Threate room.
The district will be closed on Friday, April 18th. Classes will resume on Monday, April 21st.

Panola College is offering opportunities for students to receive help in passing the TSIA2 test. One flier is for reading and the other flier is for math. This is not associated with Garrison ISD, but we wanted to pass along this opportunity for parents and students that were interested.

Just a friendly reminder, guests won’t be allowed on campus during these testing days, including for lunch.
